Our Aims
Provide quality care to nurture each child to their best potential.
With a motivated, professional, dedicated and inspirational team.
Continuously improving child development and sector knowledge.
Enabling our children to grow and develop in a natural environment.
Empowering our children to have the tools to become confident, independent individuals.
Interactions Matter Most
High quality interactions are at the heart of early years teaching.
Our staff are trained to tune into children’s ideas, modelling language, extending thinking and developing learning techniques.
Continuous Provision
This encourages children to explore their own interests, practice skills, and consolidate learning at their own pace, with adult support focusing on observation and purposeful interaction rather than direct instruction.
Key aspects include setting up enticing, accessible areas with open ended resources that support learning across all areas of development.
Sustainability

Here at Clowns we pride ourselves on our sustainability practices.
Teaching young children to care for the planet through hands-on nature experiences, reducing waste, conserving energy, and making
eco-friendly choices, fostering a lifelong love for nature and responsible citizenship.

We also put this into our day-to-day routines and actions, such as sustainable activities, nappy waste reduction, natural based cleaning products where applicable, growing our own produce and composting our waste.
Parent Partnership
Working in partnership with parents involves establishing a two-way dialogue through regular communication, valuing parent input, and creating opportunities for their involvement to enhance the child’s learning journey.
Here at Clowns we organise family days, parent stay and plays and grandparent sessions. This allows the children to feel more connected and content within Nursery life and also gives family members a better understanding of what we do and who we are.
